Moroccan Tertiary Students’ Ability in Comprehending Listening and Reading in Argumentative Discourse

Listening and reading are indisputably receptive skills that provide learners with language input through the discourse they see or hear. Teaching them separately at University level has many benefits as well stumbling blocks in learning process. Thus, researchers argue for integrating listening into since there is a significant positive correlation between them. Admittedly, present research plea idea of two to enhance high learners’ comprehension. To attain this objective, study an attempt determine whether relationship argumentative discourse. test hypothesis, 92 Semester 4 participants studying Faculty Arts Humanities, Moulay Ismail Meknes, ENS (Ecole Normale Supérieure) Language, Letters, Arts, Ibn Tofail Kenitra were administered proficiency tests examine their abilities comprehending texts mode end, types instruments namely Pearson product-moment simple linear regression have been used analyze data collected. The results revealed (r= .60, p=< 0.001).
